Update - February 3, 2007
North Country Digital Recording will not be available for any new projects until January 2008. Our engineer, Joel Hurd, is also the Production Manager for North Country Public Radio and has embarked on a massive year-long recording project called UpNorth Music. The radio station has received $330,000 for the project and all of Joel's attention is focused on the 150 recording sessions scheduled for November 2006 thru October 2007. However, if you're a musician interested in some free recording time, please check out the UpNorth Music website for details.
Thanks!
Are you interested in learning how to get your free credit report today? Many people are concerned that the economy and their spending may have created an unfavorable rating. In order to find this out, you need to get access to your credit score. There are many ways to do this.
Thanks for checking out North Country Digital Recording. Here you won't find any annoying pop-ups, fancy java script or slick graphics. We're not web designers...we do audio.
What you will find here is some useful information to help you fully realize the recording project that you have in mind. We think every project should have three basic components:
1. The end result should sound fantastic
2. The process should be lots of fun
3. You should not have to skip a rent payment
or a meal to afford it
Are you with us so far? Good. Then let us tell you a little bit more about our recording philosophy (yes, pushing play and record at the same time can have some deep thought behind it) so you can decide whether North Country Digital is right for you.
We think great performances, no matter the style of music or number of musicians, deserve to be captured and preserved for others to enjoy. Sure, that's easy for us to say since we're in the business of remote recording, so we'll admit a bias here. And honestly, sometimes you may not be too concerned about the sound quality of a live recording and a more simple setup will do the trick...like Aunt Edna holding an old cassette recorder in her lap in the 17th row. But for the times when you want to capture all of the nuances and subtleties of a performance, we hope you'll consider letting us help. <>hr
Whether it's a live performance in front of a crowd captured with a world-class stereo mic pair, or a multitrack masterpiece recorded in your rehearsal space (or something in between), we're ready to lend a hand.
The links to the left should answer most of your questions. If they don't, please be in touch with us. And thanks again for visiting.
